The Summer School in Podiatry 2020 has been postponed to 2021

30.10.2020

Dear friends and collaborators,

Due to the current epidemiological context, caused by the pandemic of the new coronavirus (COVID-19), we inform you that the Summer School in Podiatry, initially established for July 15-18, 2020, will be postponed to 2021. The location and date will be revealed at a later moment.

Regarding the participation fees, participants' accommodation and services/sponsorship contracts, things will not change.

Therefore, the services/sponsorship contracts concluded so far remain valid but with the modification of the contractual period in accordance with the new date mentioned above. Moreover, the accommodations already booked will be maintained, under the same agreed conditions, for the period corresponding to the new date of this scientific event.

Given the fact that the pandemic is outside of our control, we hope to have your consent in this regard. We have prepared an intense scientific learning program, exchange of good practices and interactive sessions for your professional development and for the benefit of people with diabetes and foot complications that you have in care.

We want all the events of the Association of Podiatry take place in the best conditions, so that your health, that of the participants, is always our priority. We strictly and responsibly comply with all regulations and decisions of the authorities regarding restrictions applied to events of any kind.

Podiatry came to Romania to stay. We continue our mission to develop podiatry and the profession of podiatrist in Romania. Our health care system needs these highly specialized foot care professionals. It is a profession that saves lives.

With the hope that the next period will be better and we will overcome this global crisis, I wish you good health and see you again in 2021 at the next edition of the Summer School in Podiatry!

Best regards,

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ioan-Andrei Vereșiu

President of the Association of Podiatry
