During the event, the participants will have the opportunity to interact and exchange experiences and good practices with internationally renowned experts in podiatry and diabetic foot, as well as key opinion leaders from Romania.
The participants will have the opportunity to ask questions to the speakers in real time. All the participants are encouraged to be active. During the scientific sessions, in addition to the interactive meeting with the speaker, there will be competitions with medical topics, real-time voting and prizes.
The event follows a high-quality scientific program. It includes scientific sessions followed by Q&A sessions, as well as case presentations dedicated to various foot pathologies. Topics will include diabetic foot management (vascular approach, wound care, diabetic foot examination etc.), Hi-Tech in the diabetic foot, notions of foot biomechanics, gait analysis, footwear analysis, forensic podiatry, various facts about podiatry, podiatry for children, and geriatric podiatry. Each day, the scientific session will end with a State-of-the-Art Lecture, hosted by an international key opinion leader. We invite you every day to meet and interact with a "guru" of diabetic foot and podiatry.
The scientific event wants to emphasize both the importance of the podiatrist, as a medical specialist in foot care in general, and especially as a member of the multidisciplinary team for people with diabetes.
To encourage a continuous and diverse process of professional development, the Summer School in Podiatry also offers you “The ingredients of success”, a complementary session facilitated by Dorin Dancu, trainer and motivational speaker.
We are convinced that everyone's participation in this event will have a significant contribution to their professional development and will help them build a good personal and professional brand.
Be better today than you were yesterday. Decide to be the best! You have chosen to be a health care professional! You have chosen to actively contribute to the health of the patients you meet in your daily practice! You have chosen to be close to people and solve their health problems!
The event will be broadcasted live and can only be watched by those who registered (they will receive a username and password one day before the event). In addition, the recording of the event will be available on the platform for 30 days.
We look forward to seeing you at a new edition of the Summer School in Podiatry!
